While companies like Apple and Samsung are trying to get more customers by releasing a cheaper version of its high-end phones, Google took things one step further with it’s new Google Pixel 3a. However, this one is not really trying to compete with the high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy 10E or Apple iPhone XR but offers identical camera quality as the Google Pixel 3. To find out if it’s true or not and the Google Pixel 3a India price, continue reading.
Most of the phones from Google we have seen so far are not really popular for its design and this one didn’t try to change that. It looks almost similar to the Google Pixel 3 and the plastic body gives the phone a budget phone look. This phone is also not following the footsteps of the phones with near bezel-less displays and comes with a 5.6-inch screen showing 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 441ppi of pixel density and 75% screen-to-body ratio. Although the phone doesn’t offer any water resistance or wireless charging, users will get a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For those of you who really wanted to get the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL for its camera and its amazing Night Sight features, the Google Pixel 3a can be a great option. It’s the same camera from the standard Pixel 3 which is a 12.2-megapixel 28mm wide sensor with f/1.8 aperture. However, the Pixel 3a is missing the Pixel Visual Core imaging chip and the result is slightly visible. Pictures can take some time to process before you can see them in the gallery because of Pixel 3a’s mid-range processor. However, the results are satisfying and the pictures captured at night will definitely blow you away compared to other phones at the same price range as the Google Pixel 3a India price or even expensive ones like the Apple iPhone XS or OnePlus 6T. As for the front camera, it’s an 8-megapixel 24mm wide angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
To make sure users can get the same camera as its high-end phones, Google definitely had to make some compromises inside the phone. Users will get a Qualcomm SDM670 Snapdragon 670 10nm octa-core processor inside paired with 4GB of RAM. There is no microSD card slot and the internal storage is only 64GB which can be a problem for some people. This processor combined with the clean Android 9.0 Pie will definitely get the job done for most users, but it’s not offering the same performance as it’s more expensive brothers. Considering the price of this phone, these compromises are understandable. As for the battery of the phone, it’s a 3000mAh Li-Po battery that also supports fast battery charging 18W. Some of the other noteworthy features are: stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
One of the best things about the Google Pixel 3a is definitely its price. The starting price of the Google Pixel 3a is ₹ 25800 . It’s already available for pre order which means no need to wait for the Google Pixel 3a release date India.
